Sasha Rodoy
Campaigner and Patient Advocate
My Beautiful Eyes Foundation
Sasha Rodoy is a patient advocate and campaigner calling for government regulation of the refractive surgery industry.
In early 2011, Sasha's eyes were irreparably damaged by Optimax as a result of incorrectly prescribed refractive surgery. Optimax tried to persuade her that she was a very rare case but she soon realised this was far from the truth.
In January 2012, Sasha launched 'My Beautiful Eyes' campaign calling for the UK government to regulate the refractive eye surgery industry. As a result, Sasha was inundated by people asking for advice which led her to set up 'My Beautiful Eyes Foundation', a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to offering help and advice relating to refractive eye surgery (both pre and post op).
